Experience
I am a certified Mathematics teacher in Missouri who has taught many years of high school and college Mathematics classes. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire as a Mathematics major, and went on to the University of Massachusetts, where I earned a master's degree in Secondary Education.Surprisingly, I love students who don't like math! When I see students who are struggling, I want to be the person to show them that they can learn to love math. I believe I can help almost anyone master math skills, under the conditions that the student is making an effort and the parents are communicative and supportive. I also prefer to have communication with the student's teacher when I am tutoring.Outside of teaching, I spend a lot of time with my son and working with the Boy Scouts. I love outdoor activities like skiing, canoeing, hiking, swimming, and sports such as tennis, volleyball, and softball. I am an amateur photographer and travel as much as possible. I also like to relax by watching movies and listening to all different genres of music. What I value most is volunteering, and I am very active in the community.
